To utilize this template, start by entering employee information in the Employee Details Tab and then proceed to complete the remaining sections on the Payroll Calculator Tab.
Settings: Update tax filing options, adjust standard tax rates, and specify the start and end date for the current Pay Period.
Employee Details: Input employee information and relevant deduction details for each employee. Ensure that each employee has a unique Employee ID for the sheet to function properly.
Payroll Calculator: Record hours worked and relevant data for each employee. Please refrain from altering cells shaded in gray, as they contain essential formulas.
Dashboard: This automated sheet offers a summary of key payroll data, including number of employees, hours worked, and gross pay, organized by Pay Period, Weekly (average), or Daily (average).
Please adhere to the following guidelines when using each tab:
1) "Settings": Adjust tax rates and input payroll period dates.
2) "Employee Details": Specify employee details, including wage, tax status, deductions, and taxes. Customize columns for additional deductions if necessary.
3) "Payroll Calculator": Select Employee ID from the drop-down menu or manually enter it. Record hours worked, bonuses, and other relevant details. Update withholding numbers and post-tax deductions accordingly.
4) "Dashboard": Select different units from the drop-down menu to view payroll information. Compare individual employee data as needed.
